PIV/CAC Integration
Gatekeeper™ is fully integrated with standard government issued credentials for three factor logon and transaction signing. In addition PIV cards can be personalized (encoded or programmed) by the software including certificates.
Key Features
Reporting Built In
Gatekeeper™ has multiple types of built—in reports that are stored in the SQL server database so that they are available at all workstations with no need for Crystal Reports© or any other external software.
Transaction Security
Every transaction in Gatekeeper™ is digitally signed by the signing certificate on the users PIV or CAC. In addition, a screenshot is taken of the software at the time of the transaction and stored in an encrypted manner for training and security review by an administrator.
PACS Integration
The software is ready to be integrated with major physical access control systems (PACS) and supports field mapping to those systems. In addition, agencies with multiple locations can make use of the GateKeeper™ secure messaging service for inter—facility transmission that is PKI encrypted.
Rank and Clearances
Agency rank structure and security clearances are among the government specific data types tracked by Gatekeeper™. In additon the software integrates other specific government requirements such as the Continuous Evaluation Program.
Central Document Repository
Gatekeeper™ functions as your central information storage and control system. It incorporates not only all the data you need to make decisions as to cardholder access at the facilities under your control, but also allows you to keep all of the documentation required for all items reviewed including the ability to create Word© and Excel© type documents and scan documents.
ANSI 378 Biometrics
ANSI 378 fingerprint templates are captured by the software using the SecuGen© Hamster IV fingerprint reader for authentication during the onboarding process and for personalization of PIV cards.
PIV Personlization
PIV cards can be issued through the system personalized as required by agency needs including certificate generation and onloading. These cards can then be used as agency regulation permits saving time and money over central issuance authority procedures.
Financial Transactions
Gatekeeper™ has a built–in financial module for transactions associated with the onboarding of personnel and the selling of consumables. These can be tailored for contract agencies depending on requirements.
Access Code Issuance Requirements
There are many areas of an agency's facilities that have extra security requirements before a person can be allowed access. Such areas might be where weapons are stored, where nuclear or biological material is present, or where safety is at risk.
Continuous Evaluation Program
The Continous Evaluation Program, a program that is required by many agencies, is integrated into the software both for issuance and adjudication purposes.
Multi–Facility Capability
Gatekeeper™ was built from the ground up to allow for multi-facility operation. Transmission of transactions between facilities operates through the Gatekeeper™ Secure Messaging Server and are PKI encrypted and protected.
Pick Your Interface
Gatekeeper™ allows your users to pick from a large selection of skins, including high contrast varieties for users who require them. These range from the playful and seasonal to those that immitate other software the user is comfortable with.
User Metrics
Which of your users is performing the majority of the work? Which users require training and which should be rewarded for their precision? Gatekeeper™ keeps detailed metrics on your users and helps you compare them to other users of the same type.
Default Access by Job Title
Gatekeeper™ allows the administrator to assign default access codes from one or multiple PACS to job titles so that they will be automatically assigned to the person (if the cardholder meets all requirements) when the job title is assigned in the system.
